About Jarrod
From a young age, Jarrod liked to fill notepads with Crayola drawings, hand-drawn mazes, and random scribbles. Jarrod’s high school art teacher recommended a career in graphic design, and so, an artist was born.
Jarrod’s career started solely as a graphic designer—working five years in the newspaper industry. This experience taught Jarrod the importance of meeting deadlines as well as the entire prepress process.
However, simply being a graphic designer wasn’t enough. A number of years ago, Jarrod was told that over 200 graphic designers applied to a local job opening within the first 72 hours of its posting. Jarrod knew that in order to advance his career he needed to stand out from the crowd, so Jarrod took an intro to web design course at a local college.
As a final project for the class, jarrodmurray.com was born and through the years has evolved into what you see today. Jarrod is still trying to stand out from the crowd, and would like you to consider him while choosing a designer.
